Assembly election 2018: Exit polls predict saffron surge in North East

28th February 2018   ·   0 Comments

If the exit polls of Tuesday are to be believed, then the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to continue its upward surge in the North East after winning Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Manipur.

It is now the BJP’s turn to leave its mark in Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura.

If exit polls are any indication, then the BJP is all set to unseat Chief Minister Manik Sarkar in Tripura.
